dr. C. Tzagkarakis

Circuits and Systems (CAS), Department of Microelectronics

Expertise: Audio signal processing

Themes: Audio and acoustic signal processing

Christos Tzagkarikis is a postdoc in the CAS group since September 2015.

He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Crete, Heraklion, Greece, in 2005, and 2007, respectively. He also received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Crete in 2014.

His research interests include signal processing for immersive audio environments, audio modeling and coding, music information retrieval, compressed sensing and sinusoidal modeling with emphasis in audio coding, sparse signal representation for signal reconstruction/classification in the area of speaker identification and impact sounds recognition, and speech features enhancement using low-rank matrix completion.
